Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 24 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Carlsbergbar website. By browsing the site you accept the conditions below. Your statutory rights as a consumer under Portuguese law are not affected.
01 Identification
The Carlsbergbar website and restaurant are operated by Carlsbergbar Moita, located at Rua 5 de Outubro, No. 5, 2860-501 Moita, Portugal.
02 Purpose of the website
The website is informational: it presents the restaurant, the menu, opening hours, location and links for ordering through external platforms.
The website does not sell products: it has no cart, payments, user accounts or online booking system.
04 Allergens
Under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, information on substances causing allergies or intolerances in each dish is available from our staff. Please tell us about any allergy or intolerance before ordering.
05 Orders through external platforms
The website links to third-party platforms, namely Uber Eats, where you can order for delivery or collection. These platforms are run by independent companies: ordering, payment, fees, delivery, cancellations and refunds are governed by that operator's terms and policies.
This does not remove our legal responsibility for the preparation, quality and safety of the food we supply.
06 Use of the website
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to disrupt its operation. We do our best to keep the information accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions.
07 Intellectual property
The text, photos, videos, logos and design of the website belong to Carlsbergbar Moita or are used with permission. Reproduction or commercial use without prior written consent is not allowed.
08 Liability and external links
We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party sites linked from the website. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damage arising from use of the website; this limitation does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence and does not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
09 Complaints book and dispute resolution
The restaurant keeps a physical Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações). You can also file a complaint in the Electronic Complaints Book.
For consumer disputes you may use an Alternative Dispute Resolution entity (Law No. 144/2015): CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo. More information on the Consumer Portal.
10 Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes are submitted to the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
11 Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, dated at the top.
